Alan clearly read different books…I had an idea watching this season we would not get anything close to the books and was fine with it. In other news I read a fanfic awhile ago that was so awesome - Charlaine should hire that person to ghost write her next book. 

Alan is never going to give us the things we expect from the books.  And of course this is season may not live up to my love for the 4th book, but it is better than last season and it is better than I expected this season to be.

Agreed. I mean I was all for it because they got together and such and I think that Alan is trying to show a stronger connection than just lust…BUT he is also playing it too safe for the Sookie&Bill fans out there. He’s making sure that he’s covering Bill’s ass and making him seem like a better person so that one day Sookie can forgive him(or get back together with). Especially when Eric said that he can see that she still cares for him. BULLSHIT. She was completely betrayed for awhile in the book series. Let’s Keep it that way because Bill is a dickhole.
